It was great to meet classmates and batchmates after 15 years. Around 50+ alumni of the CEG 95 batch met at the Alumni auditorium inside Anna University. The batch donated 2 lakhs for an endowment fund. The amount will be put as a fixed deposit and the interest will benefit an economically backward but bright student.
It was great to see students working on Wi-Fi connections in benches near the roads. Classrooms are well-furnished, and the departments have a TV and mirror too. The Dean Dr.M. Sekar emotionally recalled that sometimes the wife of a late(no more) alumni attends the meetings. Dr. Shanmugavel, Registrar of AU, told that he was enlightened by one of his students about ATM networks. The initial inputs from this student kindled his interest for further research. Click
