Nalandaway's Children Festival Art, Arattai, Aarpattam started on 18th July with a mellifluous music confluence at the Museum Theatre, Egmore. Anil Srinivasan, Naresh Iyer, Unni Krishnan, and Navin Iyer performed poet Bharathiyaar's songs about Kannamma. Unni Krishnan started the show with the song "Ninnaiye Radhi Endru." Navin Iyer's "Theertha Karaiyinile" on the flute was marvelous. Naresh Iyer got the whole audience clap in sync for his song "Munbe Vaa En Anbe Vaa." Anil seemed to enjoy his rapport with all the other performers as his fingers moved deftly over the piano.
A collection of stories written by children for the AAA2010 story writing contest was released as a book titled "Hey Akka, Keladi." A cartoon book written by Lakshmi Devnath about singer M.S.SubbuLakshmi was mentioned.

Event - ‘Kids for Kannamma’, a western classical music concert performed by children of the Kodaikanal International School Orchestra, organised by Anil Srinivasan, Managing Director of MusicUniv and popular classical pianist with support from the Youth Association for Classical Music (YACM), in aid of the Kannama Project, an initiative of the NalandaWay Foundation.

Entry: The concert is free for all. However, people are welcome to make donations for the “Kannama Project” at the venue.
