Vocational Training for Visually Challenged

Greetings from National Association for the Blind, Tamilnadu State Branch (NAB TNSB).  We are starting 2014-15 batch of Vocational Training on 16th June 2014 for the visually challenged. 

The following courses are taught with free boarding and lodging.

1. Vocational Training - About 12 Small trades such as re-canning of chairs, making of candles, making phenol etc are taught. It is a 10 months course.

2. Cycle Repair - Six months course

3. Basic Course in Computer with JAWS - 6 months course

4. Music - 10 months course

5. Massage and Reflexology - Six months course

We request you to refer deserving students for the course. For computer course, XII Std. or X Std. with good working knowledge of English is required. For other courses no educational qualification is required.
