At the MMA Women's forum, dancer Anita Ratnam told that she lived life like an Ashoka tree. Ashoka tree, that keeps growing tall and reaches its maximum potential or height. She compared her life to the life lived by other women as Banyan trees. A Banyan tree that leaves out lots of aerial roots but does not grow tall.
Cricketer Krishnamachari Srikanth countered the tree analogy with the idea that during a storm an Ashoka tree will break and fall, while a Banyan tree will stand still with its multiple roots.
